Day 1


Podgorica  - Virpazar - Skadar lake cruise- Old Bar- Radevic estate visit - Podgorica


We visit the so called bird airport of Europe, the Skadar lake and take a cruise around. Explore the unique village of Zabljak Crnojevica with its abandoned fortress, take a break in the old market place town of Virpazar

Go to the antique town of Old Bar, and visit the oldest olive tree in Europe where the people form Bar would come to make peace.

At the end of the day, we take you back to Podgorica and to a family winery. Where our host will tell us all about wine making and guide us through an degustation!


Day 2 


Podgorica  Monastery Ostrog  Niksic  Zabljak 


We go to the mountains, first stop on the way is the most important pilgrimage site in Montenegro - the Ostrog Monastery. Explore the religious site and learn about its existence and importance to the people. 

Next we make a stop in Niksic by the Zeta river where we make a lunch break before continuing our journey north. We come to the first wind farm in Montenegro the Krnovo hill were we have a small taste of the mountains that are waiting for us. 

Reaching Zabljak we go to take a walk around the Black lake and after it is time for a meal and relaxation at the hotel.

Day 3 


Zabljak panorama day - Katun visit - Traditional cooking class


Enjoy a full day in nature. 

We take a scenic drive around the mountains of the national park the famous Durmitor ring. Enjoy the view on the flower valleys, high mountains and untouched pine forests. At the end of the drive we visit a katun.

The traditional family farm hold that exist only in the times when the snow melts, and the families follow their animals as they wander around the grassland. 


At the end of the day we will try our hand at cooking traditional meals of the mountain region. 

Day 4 


Zabljak - Djurdjevica Tara bridge - Biograd Lake - souvenir workshop - Savardak lunch break - Monastery Moraca - Podgorica


This day holds for us some more spectacular nature. We first go to the Tara river, to see the Djurdjevica Tara bridge that crosses the second deepest canyon in the world that of the Tara river. Hear the story of its making and importance.

Leaving the bridge behind we go to the Biograd national park, where one of the last rain forests of Europe hides the splendid Biograd lake

When we reach Kolasin we visit a family run souvenir shop where we can partake in making our own unique souvenirs.

And for the last part of the journey we follow the Morca river all the way down to Podgorica
