Zabljak Crnojevica

A winding road that takes 25 hairpin twists and turns from Boka Bay up to the Mount Lovcen that offer breathtaking scenery of the Bay

Day 1 

Podgorica - Virpazar - Skadar lake - Old Bar - Radovic estate - Podgorica

 

Start the tour in the “town on three bridges” – Virpazar, a charming fishing village dating back to the 13th Century located in the picturesque setting of Lake Skadar,. Then we go to explore the antique town of Old Bar. Learn the stories and legends of this unique settlement. Then head inland to the family-owned winery serving homemade reserves from central Montenegro. The winery is unique for its storage of wine in amphorae, a characteristic vessel in this part of the Mediterranean for storing oils, wines and even secret treasure!
 

Day 2 

Podgorica - Cetinje - St. Stefan - Rafailovici - Budva city tour - Boka Bay

 

Visit the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje to admire the essence of Montenegrin culture. Uncover the compact beauty of the Sveti Stefan islet, a privatised island and iconic feature of the coastline, and enjoy a guided tour of its polished pathways. 

Taste a tender seafood lunch in the old fisherman’s village of Rafailovici, served fresh from the sea direct to your plate. Explore the picturesque settlement of Budva Old Town filled with charming stone houses and antique piazzas.

 

 

Day 3 

Boka Bay cruise

Park the adventure van and jump on board a boat to experience the Bay and beyond – head to the famous Blue Cave, a turquoise lagoon reflecting all shades of blue from the glimmering waters. Combine legends with the historical depth of the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, most famous for the legend of Penelope of Montenegro. If the sights from the sea are not enough, adventurous Nomads can take a panoramic helicopter flight over the Bay.

Day 4 

Boka Bay - Kotor - Serpentine road - Njegusi - Lipa cave - Podgorica 

Stroll through the coastal town of Kotor, with unique Venetian architecture, well-preserved, crisscrossed avenues and stone cobbled squares, churches and palaces. Go back in time with role-play activities, fencing and archery, whilst dressed in knights armour. Following the battle of the swords, ascend the Serpentine road to the little village of Njegusi and enjoy a panorama of the Boka Bay. 


Snack on traditional delicacies of prosciutto, cheese and priganice (homemade doughnuts), washed down with a local digestif, rakija. Continue to the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje to admire the essence of Montenegrin culture, before heading north to the Lipa Cave, a spectacular underground display of calcified mineral formations.
